Technology
(hardware, software, Internet infrastructure, e-Commerce and m-Commerce,
wireless)
We have decades of technology experience, going back to working on TRS-80s
computers (sometimes fondly recalled as TRaSh-80s because they booted
up with cassette recorders), Osbornes (an early not-so-portable computer
with a screen the size of a PDA's), BASIC and Fortran. Along the years,
we have worked for clients in every technology sector, from hardware to
software to Internet security to services companies and consultants to
consumer electronics and etailers.
Our experience includes:
- Repositioning Corning as a telecom player instead of a company best
known for its Corningware division (a division it had sold five years
earlier)
- Launching the software division of a Fortune 100 technology
giant
- Developing and executing M&A communications plans for telecom
and software companies
- Implementing IPO communications plans for software and semiconductor
companies
- Introducing a global electronics manufacturer to U.S. media
- Introducing countless new products, ranging from new hardware (including
PCs and wireless PDAs), new versions of software (including operating
systems)
- Establishing new product categories
- Conducting dozens of media and analyst tours
- Positioning numerous software startups
- Increasing client awareness beyond the trade press
- Securing coverage in The New York Times,
The New York Times Magazine, Fortune,
ABC's "World News Tonight" and NBC's "Dateline," "Tonight Show with
Jay Leno" and dozens of top business media
